Iowa City

Trauma-Informed Yoga Group 

A safe space for survivors to explore loving connections with body and mind through gentle yoga practice. All skill levels welcome and materials provided. Open to individuals identifying as female, including trans* individuals. This is a closed group.

Talk-Based Psychoeducational

Closed discussion based group focused on healing, self-love and trauma recovery. Open to sexual assault survivors of all genders. 

Drop-In Resiliency Group

A drop-in group for survivors to explore coping-skills and resiliency through activities and light discussion. Open to all genders.

LGBTQ Self-Care Group

An open monthly group that features self-care activities to participate in as well as opportunities to socialize and provide an environment to de-stress. All identities are welcome. All are welcome regardless of whether you’ve experienced prior victimization or not. Co-hosted by Transformative Healing and RVAP sexual assault advocates.

Closed group for youth and young adults survivors of sexual violence.

Partners In Healing: Adult Sexual Abuse Survivors

A closed group focused on creating support and community between adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. All genders are welcome

Non-Offending Caregiver Psychoeducational 

Open group offered over the lunch hour for non-offending caregivers of children that have been sexually abused.

Survivor Support

Closed group exploring forgiveness, self-empowerment and faith. Available for all genders and ages.
