Caitlin Caris: Support RVAP

C-a-i-t-l-i-n C-a-r-i-s, little Caitlin rehearsed in her head as she walked along the narrow sidewalk during recess outside of Longfellow Elementary school. As she repeated her name once more, little Caitlin realized her last name was pronounced with the word “care.” The epiphany then led her to believe it was her destiny to care and help others because why else would her name be pronounced such a way? –To this day, I still believe in caring for others; not just because of my 5 year old epiphany, but because serving our community is essential for creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. I am proudly supporting RVAP and have been for 2 years because survivors and their loved ones need to feel important, protected and supported in our community. Please join me insuring no survivor has to suffer through trauma alone. We can do this, but we need your help.
