Do you feel passionate about supporting survivors and ending sexual violence? RVAP is looking for volunteers and we would love if you applied to volunteer with us! We are conducting volunteer interviews until September 9th.

Our program offers a wide range of confidential advocacy services to survivors of sexual violence. We also work toward preventing sexual violence at the university and in the community through education and policy reform. Our volunteer team provides crisis response to survivors at local hospitals and law enforcement offices, and prevention education to young people in grades kindergarden-12th grade. You can learn more about our volunteer program here.

To submit an application, apply online at  https://rvap.uiowa.edu/volunteer/apply .

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply. If you are a person with a disability who requires an accommodation in order to participate in this program, please contact RVAP in advance at rvap@uiowa.edu or by phone at 319-335-6001.

If you have other questions about volunteering, please reach out to Storm O'Brink at stormy-obrink@uiowa.edu
